ALAN MATTHEWS BSc FRICS (Director)
Alan worked with Lincolnshire County Council and Peterborough Development Corporation before joining Ekins Dilley & Handley in 1983. Based in Huntingdon since 1983 he is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and is in charge of commercial agency, investment and development.

RICHARD ADAM BSc MRICS (Director)
Richard graduated from Trent Polytechnic and initially worked in private practice in Mansfield before moving to Huntingdon in 1986. He deals with commercial agency with a bias towards office and industrial property.

JULIAN LUCAS BSc MRICS (Director)
Julian began his career in London in 1986 before attending Portsmouth University. He graduated and joined Barker Storey Matthews Huntingdon office in 1995 where he qualified as a chartered surveyor in 1998. Julian is now responsible for all sectors of commercial property agency with a bias towards retail, leisure and offices.

ANDREW SMITH BSc (Hons) MRICS (Director)
Andrew graduated from the University of East London and joined Barker Storey Matthews in 1993. He qualified as a chartered surveyor in 1995 and now heads up the property management department. Andrew also deals with some professional work including rating.

MICHAEL BEARDALL BLE (Hons) MRICS (Director)
Michael graduated from Aberdeen University in 1998 with a degree in Land Economy. He joined Storey Sons and Parker for a brief period and worked from their Middlesbrough office. He subsequently joined Barker Storey Matthews in the summer of 1999. Michael works from the Huntingdon and Peterborough offices and deals with valuation work as well as some professional and management issues.

WENDY BURCHAM (Director)
Wendy was promoted to Director at the end of 2003 and heads up the finance department. As well as being the company accountant she is responsible for all accounts, rent, insurance and service charge collection and administration for the property management department.

TIM REDFERN BSc FRICS (Management Surveyor)
Tim joined Barker Storey Matthews in the summer of 2006 to strengthen and expand the rapidly growing property management department. Tim has extensive experience in property management with a majority gained in Fund Management from working at Legal & General Volkskas in South Africa where he qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1982 and, more recently, at MGM Assurance where he managed a mixed portfolio of retail, office and industrial property. He has also worked in private practice dealing mainly with commercial rent reviews and lease renewals.
