Move to March Follows Restaurant Property’s Change of Use

Jun 21, 2018

An instruction to find a new occupier for a former restaurant property suitable for office or financial use sees Mortgage Force Cambridgeshire relocate to March from Chatteris, confirms property agency Barker Storey Matthews.

Move to March Follows Restaurant Property’s Change of Use

The mortgage adviser’s new office base is at 17 Elwyn Road in March - the former Riverside Steak House which Barker Storey Matthews agency team in Huntingdon was instructed to let by the landlord for alternative use last year (2017).

Mortgage Force Cambridgeshire had been trading from premises in Chatteris for 15 years.  Following planning approval for change of use and a fit-out for modern business occupation which has retained some of the character features of the two storey, 133.25 sq m (1,434 sq ft) property, the mortgage adviser has opened for business in its new home.

Roger Jones, owner and director of Mortgage Force Cambridgeshire, commented, “With a headcount of six staff and a bustling residential market in Cambridgeshire, we had simply outgrown our existing premises in Chatteris.

The move to March sees us in much larger premises and to be in such a prominent location in the market town – in which most of our employees live – means we can not only meet the business’s current needs but also accommodate future business growth in line with housing market moves in this part of Cambridgeshire.”
