Stephen started his career with the Valuation office in 1982 before joining the Peterborough Development Corporation for 3 years in 1985. He also worked in London in the late 1980's before returning to Peterborough in 1990. Stephen deals with agency, investment work and developments.

Richard joined Merrys Chartered Surveyors in 1985 before joining Prudential Commercial in 1986. Having been based in Peterborough since 1986, Richard specialises in commercial agency with a bias towards office and industrial space.

Qualified as a chartered town planner, John has worked with various local authorities and Peterborough Development Corporation. John now specializes in all aspects of planning work together with the acquisition and sale of residential development land.

ANDREW SMITH BSc (Hons) MRICS (Director)
Andrew graduated from the University of East London and joined Barker Storey Matthews in 1993. He qualified as a chartered surveyor in 1995 and now heads up the property management department. Andrew also deals with some professional work including rating.

Jonathan graduated from De Montfort University, Leicester in 1993 and joined Barker Storey Matthews in the same year. He became qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1996. Jonathan is principally involved in agency work across the industrial, retail and office sectors.

MARTIN HUGHES BSc (Hons) MRICS (Associate Director)
Martin joined the Peterborough office in 2000, since when he has become an integral part of the Professional department with responsibility for valuation and general professional work. Martin completed a BSc Hons degree in Land Management at Leicester De Montfort University and qualified as a chartered surveyor in early 2008.
