Barker Storey Matthews have been named by the Estates Gazette as the most active agent in Cambridgeshire for the 5th year in succession. The news was announced at a reception held in Cambridge hosted by the Estates Gazette. Stacey Meadwell of the Estates Gazette who presented the award commented that BSM had won "by a large margin".

The award is given to the company who have transacted the most commercial lettings and sales throughout 2014. Alan Matthews of BSM commented "We are delighted at having won this award once again. 2014 was an extremely busy year for us and we concluded over 400 commercial property transactions. The strongest demand has undoubtedly been the industrial sector, however, there has been good demand for offices in Peterborough and the Cambridge market for offices is also very strong".

Richard Jones who is based at BSM's Peterborough office also won the Estates Gazette individual award for number of deals transacted in Cambridgeshire.
