A Huntingdon agent has confirmed that good quality, modern business space in all locations in the district is still being sought by companies looking for new or additional premises in the area.

That is the view of Barker Storey Matthews (now part of Eddisons), whose Huntingdon office was the sole agent for the landlord in the recent letting of a unit at Sterling Place on Elean Business Park in Sutton, near Ely.

The Elean Business Park unit will see its new occupier, Citron Hygiene UK Limited - a company operating in the hygiene services sector - with office and warehouse premises totalling 5,403 sq ft (501.95 sq m) in the two storey, modern industrial unit which also has a self-contained parking area.

Citron Hygiene is an international company which is headquartered in Canada. In the UK it supplies and services over 30,000 commercial locations. East Anglia is a strategic location and the company’s new premises at Elean Business Park will act as part of its growing distribution network.

Bromwich Hardy, as Citron Hygiene’s retained agent, acted for the company in the transaction.

With the emphasis on a high standard of accommodation plus the location, this latest letting is typical of the property requirements of businesses, such as Citron Hygiene, seeking new premises, according to Barker Storey Matthews.

Richard Adam of the agent’s Huntingdon office, commented, “This unit at Elean Business Park gives its new occupier good quality modern business space.

“Accommodation like this is becoming increasingly rare in all locations and we are seeking instructions on similar properties to meet occupiers’ active requirements.”
