Butters UK, are expanding their UK transport company operation, in response to an increased level of business activity, by purchasing 1 acre of land at Station Bridge Business Park, Yaxley, Peterborough.

The company, established for over 80 years, specialises in the transport of loose bulk agrarian products in insulated hoppers (belt trailers) throughout Europe.  The company has additional depots in Germany, Poland, Holland and Hungary.

Butters have applied for planning consent to build a two storey office building with attached industrial/warehouse unit, with determination expected late November 2013.  The Station Bridge site has already undergone improvement works to include refurbishment of existing buildings, realigning of the main estate road and demolition of outdated buildiings.  Managing Director of Butters, Paul Allen, commented that the site was ideally located for the company's development and investment plans, being close to the A1 and national road network.

Butters will take occupation of the site shortly in temporary office accommodation and are hoping to be in occupation of the newly built industrial/warehouse unit and offices by the middle of 2014.
