Acting as the sole agent under instruction, Barker Storey Matthews - now part of Eddisons – has let premises on Welbeck Way, off Shrewsbury Avenue, in the Woodston commercial district of Peterborough, to the owner of a street dance and dance fitness business.

Unit 2 at Ruby Court on Welbeck Way gives Danzfusion - and its 150 plus students - a permanent studio base for the first time since the company was established by owner and chief instructor, Jenna Kane in 2006.

According to Barker Storey Matthews, the 462 sq m (4,973 sq ft) industrial unit provides Danzfusion with open plan space, ample car parking and is set within a gated yard, close to the city centre but with good access to Peterborough’s Parkway road network.

Having previously offered classes from various locations across the city, Jenna Kane is looking forward to having one permanent location.  She said, “It has always been my dream for Danzfusion to have a permanent base in the city.

“The space at Ruby Court fits well with Danzfusion ethos of offering a safe, friendly environment for children and adults in which to build confidence and improve wellbeing through dance.

“We’re looking forward to opening the new studio in June.”

Richard Jones, Director, Barker Storey Matthews, added, “While not the conventional occupier expected for an industrial unit, on finding out more about Danzfusion and Jenna’s vision for the business it became clear that this was the right space at the right time.

“Jenna and her students will bring a new vibe to the commercial profile of the area.  We wish them every success.”
