A property deal seeing Bowmer + Kirkland Building Services with a new Cambridge office has now been formally completed after initial delay at the early stages of the coronavirus pandemic, confirms Barker Storey Matthews (now part of Eddisons).

Acting as joint agent, the letting sees the building services company with a two storey, 9,034 sq ft (839.27 sq m) modern office building at Vision House on Oakington Business Park, close to the A14.

The relocation of the previous occupier - international sight loss charity, CBM - to a brand new office building on Mercers Row in central Cambridge was delayed earlier in the year, according to Ben Green of Barker Storey Matthews who also advised CBM on its office acquisition.

He explained, “At the start of business lockdown, CBM was not in a position to take occupation of its new building in Cambridge which was built by Munro Building Services - who are now owned by the Bowmer + Kirkland Group.

“However, by the beginning of this month (May) the logistical delays of the move were overcome and all parties and agents completed the deal formally,” he explained.
