Acting on behalf of the vendor, Barker Storey Matthews have completed the sale of the former Club Revolution bar and club premises at 30-32 Park Road in Peterborough City Centre.

The property, which extends to 5,971 sq ft over two floors, has been sold to a private local investor who, it is believe, intends to develop the ground floor into a retail unit and the upper parts into offices or residential accommodation.

Julian Welch, Director at BSM's Peterborough office commented "we believe that this property offered an excellent opportunity for an investor to breathe new life into it.  Over recent years it had suffered from being slightly removed from the city centre leisure 'circuit' and it is perhaps time for a new owner to redevelop it for alternative uses".

He added, "this sale is just the latest in a string of transactions on Park Road, highlighting its appeal to occupiers who require a city centre presence, but cannot afford the cost of owning or renting prime central premises".
