Kingston Park, a new industrial development at Hampton in Peterborough is attracting high levels of demand with the developer, R&H Estates announcing that 10 of the original 14 plots are now in solicitor's hands.

The site comprising around 13 acres and which will provide a comprehensive warehouse/ showroom development, occupies a prominent location alongside the A1139 fronting buildings occupied by Amazon, Debenhams and Willis and Gambier. Marketing of the site commenced in June this year and planning consent for the road construction granted at the end of September.

Occupier's names are due to be announced shortly but, according to Richard Jones of Barker Storey Matthews Peterborough office, "they are a combination of fast growing local warehouse, showroom and trade counter occupiers as well as one large international manufacturing concern". Richard adds "we always knew the demand would be strong but the take up, before the developer even started the road construction, has taken us all by surprise and does show the strength of the local Peterborough economy and the quality of the location and construction proposed. The first occupiers should be on site by the summer of 2015."

Plots are still available between 0.47 and 3.3 acres on a freehold and leasehold basis. A variety of uses including trade counter, showroom and warehousing will be considered on a subject to planning basis. Developers R&H Estates can also offer all plots with design and build packages tailored to occupier's specific requirements. R&H have developed many local industrial estates including Culley Court, Viking Trade Park and Barnack Business Park in Peterborough as well as Eagle Business Park in Yaxley.
