Barker Storey Matthews' Huntingdon office has been instructed to market a prime, centrally located development site on Castle Moat Road, opposite the District Council offices in the centre of Huntingdon.

The site was formerly occupied by The British Red Cross and has an area of approximately 0.377 acres with direct frontage onto Castle Moat Road. The site is within walking distance of the town centre shops, amenities, railway station and bus station and would make an ideal location for a residential development. The site is to be sold by way of informal tender with a tender date to be confirmed.

Alan Matthews Director at Barker Storey Matthews who is handling the sale on behalf of The Britsh Red Cross commented, "This site would be perfectly suited for a small residential flat development although alternative uses could include retail, offices and leisure, all of which, of course, would require planning permission".
