Acting on behalf of the Probation Service, Barker Storey Matthews Huntingdon office has negotiated the sale of the services former offices on Grammar School Walk, in the heart of Huntingdon town centre, to the rear of the Cromwell Museum.

The property, comprising two buildings, the former detached Victorian County Building together with a more modern office building to the rear, have been sold to a local developer who plans to convert them into 19 individual flats.

Alan Matthews of Barker Storey Matthews, who handled the sale on behalf of the Probation Service commented "we received little demand for the property in its existing use as offices, however, following the recent change in planning legislation allowing a change of use from office to residential as permitted development, interest was considerably higher".
