Peterborough-based R&H Developments has just acquired development land at Kingston Park, in Hampton, from O&H Properties Ltd.

Rob Facer, managing director of R&H Developments, said: "The site will offer industrial and warehouse accommodation to a range of users and provides good access and prominence which will hopefully be desirable to the market.

He added: "There is currently a shortage of industrial space in Peterborough which contains a good level of external yard and this is something that we can offer here."

The development site totals 14.5 acres and adjoins the Amazon, Willis & Gambier and Debenhams distribution warehouses at Kingston Park.

Construction of the new units is expected to get under way this autumn.

The site will offer plots from 0.34 acres up to 5.0 acres for industrial, warehouses, trade counter or showroom uses.

Barker Storey Matthews and Savills have been appointed as letting agent for the new commerical development.
