Julian Welch, Director at Barker Storey Matthews commented, “The popularity of dessert parlours across the nation and, in recent months, particularly in Peterborough proves that this relatively new industry fad are firmly positioning themselves on the British high street. The popularity of these stores and the late night opening hours could perhaps be reflective of the increasing number of young people abstaining from alcohol oriented evenings.”
