Acting on behalf of the owner, PS24 Ltd, Barker Storey Matthews Peterborough office have sold the freehold of a large warehouse unit at Alpha Park, in the Bretton industrial area of Peterborough.

Units 14-20 extend to a total of 18,405 sq. ft., and have been sold to local business JMS Transformers, who will be relocating from their existing unit at Ivatt Way.

Julian Welch, Director at joint agents Barker Storey Matthews who acted for the vendor commented, "We are very pleased to have been able to dispose of this large unit to a local business. With the economy starting to recover, businesses can once again look towards expansion and it provided the purchaser with a large amount of space at a very affordable price. He is now able to take his business forward and plan for growth."

He added, "We have sold and let a number of industrial units at Alpha Park recently and this reflects the fact that there is a dwindling supply of industrial stock of the sizes offered by this scheme within Peterborough. We only have 8 out of 30 units remaining, and we can provide between 1,195 and 7,212 sq. ft., but with demand for space increasing we are hopeful that the scheme will be full before very long."
