The purchasers, who are expanding their operation, are relocating from existing leasehold premises on Huntingdon's Ermine Business Park. Sue Uttridge from the PCA commented on the move "we had an existing lease coming to an end and needed more space. We considered both freehold and leasehold options but decided to purchase as freehold values look attractive at the current time. We plan to fit out the building over the coming weeks and plan to relocate all staff into the new premises by mid to end August 2013".
Alan Matthews of Barker Storey Matthews' Huntingdon office commented "this transaction represents the last sale at Ramsey Court which, in total, provides just over 40,000 sq ft of office space. Whilst there is no shortage of office stock generally, much of the available accommodation is leasehold only and there is now a shortage of high quality self-contained freehold office buildings. With no new development planned in the forseeable future, it is highly likely that prices for this type of accommodation will continue to rise".
