Retail premises on Broad Street in the Cambridgeshire market town of March have been let to Kleanco Dry Cleaners and Laundry, confirms Barker Storey Matthews who acted on behalf of the landlord.

The 77.32 sq m (832 sq ft) premises at 28 Broad Street in March is Kleanco’s fourth outlet in Cambridgeshire – the others are in the market towns of St Ives, Ramsey and in the Eynesbury district of St Neots.

Kleanco Dry Cleaners and Laundry has been trading since 2006.  It offers the full range of dry cleaning and laundry services to the public from its outlets and agents in the region and it also undertakes contract work for a number of businesses in the leisure and hospitality sectors.

The new March retail premises have a shop front on to the street.  Ancillary space to the rear and a garage sees Kleanco with the space to install and operate its full suite of specialist laundry equipment.

Iham Ali, owner and managing director of Kleanco Dry Cleaners and Laundry, was keen to find additional premises quickly in order to service his growing roster of contract clients and from which to add to the company’s retail offering in Cambridgeshire.

He said, “The Broad Street location is a prominent one in March town centre and the size and layout of the space meant we could house our heavier service machinery in the same premises.”

Stephen Power, Director, Barker Storey Matthews Huntingdon, confirmed, “All parties in the transaction were keen to move quickly and the lease was documented and completed within two weeks of the initial agreement with Kleanco.”
