Called Enfield Court, construction of the development’s ten new units is well underway on the Nuffield Road area of St Ives’ principal trading estate which is at the northern edge of the Cambridgeshire market town.
Enfield Court is the latest development in this region by Starbright Development Ltd – a private developer who has also undertaken other commercial developments in the South East.
The new build, ‘workshop style’ units are suitable for B1, B2 and B8 uses - light industrial, general and industrial and storage & distribution, respectively. They range in size from 79.1 sq m (851 sq ft) to 400 sq m (4,309 sq ft) and are being offered to let by Barker Storey Matthews as individual units or in combination to suit occupiers’ requirements, with lease terms to be agreed.
Of steel portal frame construction, each unit will have its own on-site parking allocation and separate pedestrian access. The modern, industrial specification sees each unit with features including six metre eaves height, electric roller shutter loading doors, three phase electricity, separate mains and drainage, accessibility compliant cloakroom. The agent advises there is scope for incorporating an office layout within the units, subject to build stage.
