Trading as Cannon Shelley (part of the Cannon Group), Shelley Thermoformers International Ltd is relocating to Unit 2, Falcon Court from premises on Roman Way, Godmanchester where it has been for the past decade.
Unit 2 is the fourth unit to be let at Falcon Court which is one of two new speculative business developments by Barnack Estates Ltd at Hinchingbrooke Business Park. Its companion development, Kingfisher Court, has five new occupiers with two units still to let.
Shelley Thermoformers International Ltd has been operational in the Huntingdon area for over 40 years and has, in its time, been located at St Peter’s Industrial Estate when it manufactured on-site too.
The company’s focus is now on sales and servicing for Cannon Shelley and Unit 2, Falcon Court gives office and workshop premises of 304.7 sqm (3,280 sq ft) across two floors.
In seeking new commercial premises in which to re-locate, Peter Clarke of Cannon Shelley was keen to keep the Huntingdon connection as the customer base is UK-wide but its employees are local.
He explains, “We’re well served by local and onward road transport links in this area and this can only improve when the A14 upgrade is complete.
“The priority was to remain in the Huntingdon area. While our new premises at Falcon Court are slightly smaller, the benefits of the high-quality specification, fit out and low running costs of new-build appealed.
“We’ve worked with Barker Storey Matthews before when we’ve had property requirements many times down the years and so we entered lease negotiations for our unit at Falcon Court with confidence.”
