Hercules has expanded from premises nearby in Stevern Way where it has been since 2006. The move to 668.33 sq m (7,194 sq ft) of warehouse and office space at 11 Titan Drive was prompted by the business’s expansion during the past five years and plans for the future growth of its ‘pick ‘n’ pack’ order fulfilment services, which include same day despatch to a late cut off deadline.
According to Barker Storey Matthews, the Eastern Industry commercial district of Peterborough remains popular with warehouse, trade counter and showroom occupiers because of its proximity to the city centre - just one and a half miles away - and the city’s Parkway system and onward transport connections to the national road network.
Commenting on Hercules’ move to Titan Drive, Sally Strudwick, Managing Director, said, “Transport logistics are crucial in serving our clients so we were determined not to compromise on a good location in our search for new and larger premises.
“All our sites, including the new Peterborough premises – where we now have a workforce of around 30 employees working on shift rotation - are perfectly placed.”
