The property, which comprises a 23,000 sq ft research and development building, is currently let to Cosworth Electronics Ltd on a lease expiring in 2019. The sale reflected a net yield to the purchaser of 9.5%. Alan Matthews of Barker Storey Matthews said, "this is a first class property let to a very good tenant. We had a good level of interest in the building and were very pleased with the sale result. The purchaser is a regional private property company".
Cosworth will continue in occupation of the premises and the sale will have no effect on their business in any way.
