Barker Storey Matthews has let a prime retail shop on King Street in Saffron Walden to the charity St Elizabeth's on a new 10 year lease.

37-39 King Street is well located in Saffron Walden's main shopping area and provides a ground floor sales area of 1,072 sq ft with ancillary offices and stores.

Located near the village of Much Hadham and established in 1901 as a school for children with epilepsy, St Elizabeth's is now recognised as the only national centre offering services to all age groups with learning disabilities through it's school, college and residential home and day services.

Tracey Harley, Retail Development Manager at St Elizabeth's commented, "St Elizabeth's charity shops help to increase public awareness of our charity's work. Every charity shop donation is converted into funding for new projects that directly benefit the children and adults in our care. Barker Storey Matthews have been a delight to work with and I hope their staff will be amongst our first customers!"

Kevin Taylor & Associates acted as joint letting agents.
