The RICS has just published its latest quarterly UK Commercial Property Market Survey (Q1 2020), headlined, ‘Commercial market outlook hit by coronavirus outbreak’.

Commenting on the latest survey, among other RICS chartered surveyors in East Anglia, is Steve Hawkins, Partner, Eddisons Barker Storey Matthews

He said, “The impact of the coronavirus will, in our opinion, be the largest single factor affecting property values in both the short and medium term.

“Tenant defaults are potentially likely to increase, along with interrupted rental returns and increased incentives required for new lettings.”
