The Peterborough office of property agent Barker Storey Matthews is lending its support to a local school by sponsoring the pupils’ new sports kit.

From this month (February), when the children of the William Hildyard Church of England Primary & Nursery School in Market Deeping run out to represent their school at sporting events at all levels, the new kit – still in the school’s traditional team colours of blue and yellow - will be proudly worn.

Simon Fell, Head of School at William Hildyard, said, “It was a pleasure to invite Mr Welch (of Barker Storey Matthews) to the school to formally hand over the new kit to our Bronze Sports Ambassadors and Sports Apprentices.

“The children are extremely excited about the new kit and can’t wait to represent the school so that they can wear it officially.”

Julian Welch, who is based in Barker Storey Matthews’ Peterborough office, added, “The school is an important and integral part of the local community in Market Deeping and the wider area, and encourages its young learners through an inclusive approach to participation in sport.

“Our sponsorship strategy is focused on, amongst other things, the community interests of our staff and clients in the areas in which we have offices, so to sponsor this school’s new sports kit seemed like a natural fit.”
