Acting on behalf of the landlord, Barker Storey Matthews has confirmed the letting of retail premises in Ramsey, Cambridgeshire to ‘The Vape Project’.

The 839 sq ft premises at 57 High Street, Ramsey gives its new occupier glass frontage on to the town’s main commercial thoroughfare and sees it join established retail occupiers here which include national brand Lloyds Pharmacy, as well as a number of local independent traders.

The Ramsey shop is the third outlet in The Vape Project’s regional retail chain and its first in Cambridgeshire - the other two are in Lincolnshire at Bourne and Market Deeping.  The opening of another shop in the chain reflects the growth of the phenomenon of ‘vaping’ as an alternative to cigarette and tobacco smoking.

Matthew Hunt of Barker Storey Matthews Huntingdon said, “The market towns of Cambridgeshire do offer attractive opportunities for small, independent, retailers.

“Any retailer who specialises in niche services and products – such as those offered by The Vape Project - would be advised to consider premises in such Cambridgeshire towns where the property offering is more affordable than other locations in the county where national retailers tend to dominate.”
