Commercial property agent, Barker Storey Matthews has announced leading DIY and building trade supplier, Screwfix as the first confirmed occupier at Discovery Business Park, Yaxley – the building supplier’s third outlet in the Peterborough area.

Discovery Business Park is a new development of 12 purpose-built terraced, semi-detached and detached industrial/warehouse units fronting Broadway and was launched last year (June 2017).  As the sole agent under instruction, Barker Storey Matthews confirms that over half the units are now under offer.

Screwfix will occupy 374 sq m (4,025 sq ft) of warehouse space in the combined Units 11 and 12 at Discovery Business Park where fit-out of its new warehouse is underway.

Confirmation of Screwfix’s third Peterborough location – giving it coverage of the southern side of the city - comes just 12 months after Barker Storey Matthews announced Screwfix as the first occupier at another new-build development of industrial/warehouse units, Brookfield Park in Werrington which became the building supplier’s second outlet in the city.
