The development comprises two detached buildings at the entrance to The Lakes Business Park just off the A14. The buildings are being constructed to a high standard incorporating high quality offices, excellent parking and loading, in a landscaped setting overlooking the lakes.
Unit A comprises 6,975 sq ft including 1,550 sq ft of offices and Unit B comprises 8,913 sq ft together with 775 sq ft of offices. Unit B could be subdivided into two units.
Alan Matthews of Barker Storey Matthews who brokered the joint venture by introducing the parties said, "this is the first speculative development of this type to be started since 2007. There is an acute shortage of quality business space of this nature with all other nearby developments fully occupied. We anticipate a good level of demand for the buildings".
The buildings are being offered freehold at figures of £700,000 for Unit A and £900,000 for Unit B. Leasing will be considered subject to terms. Completion of the development is planned for Spring 2015.
